Melbourne is a cosmopolitan city with a well earned reputation for being the classy lady of the South. Melbourne has an underground train network around the City. All suburban lines meet at Flinders Street Station and Southern Cross Station which is also the main train terminal for country trains.
Melbourne has a free tourist tram that circles the city and a tourist shuttle bus to explore many of the attractions around Melbourne.
The Melbourne region covers the city and extends to outer suburbs. Metropolitan trains, buses and trams service these areas.
