Accommodation Getaways Victoria Inc. is the Victorian peak industry association member of the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Australia Inc. AGV has members with accommodation properties throughout Victoria who are committed to providing friendly hospitality and a quality experience to their guests.

For a business to become a member of Accommodation Getaways Victoria, it must undergo either and independent assessment by AAA Tourism or be assessed by AGV. The owner of the business has to agree to abide by AGV's Code of Conduct and to maintain their business to the standard upon which they were accepted into membership.

• AGV is pledged to support Tourism Victoria's 'Professionalism and Excellence Program'.
• AGV members are entitled to discounts for applications and membership of the BBTAP Accreditation Program.

AAA Tourism STAR rating program:

For businesses to be star rated they must meet minimum requirements, particularly concerning standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Star ratings of one to five stars awarded and determined by a point score ranging from 250-1000 so the greater the score, the greater the star rating.

Better Business Tourism Accreditation Program (BBTAP):

The Tourism Accreditation Board of Victoria has set standards of excellence in ethical conduct and fundamental operation practices. These include business management and safety procedures, consumer protection, appropriate skills and environmental practices.
